A very important part of my work is as a mentor and tutor to a number of  groups,  two of which Meniscus , and Drawn2Stitch  have recently had  national exhibitions.

However, it is my own creativity that drives my work but as we know, life sometimes gets in the way and holds up the creative process.  Currently I am immersed in a body of work that has been in the design stage for five years called ‘Parcels of Thought’. It is about relationships with my family and close friends and how  we all see these relationships differently.

Stitching  and creating through fabric and thread is my life long  passion and sharing this passion through teaching and exhibiting is my constant absorbing challenge.

I am  the proud author of three books, ‘A Little bit of Frippery’, ‘Slip into Silk’, and  ‘A little bit more - an Indulgence. These are now  out of print but I keep being asked for them so if you are interested contact me and I can send them to you by Drop Box  or on a DVD for or a small charge.

Textile Artist, Embroiderer and Tutor

Welcome to my website.

I am  an artist and tutor who teaches day schools, short courses, and summer schools both in the UK and beyond. I am passionate about textiles as an art medium and the way fabric and stitch communicate.
